We draw on the support of artists, cultural institutions,
assisted living communities, and senior services as a collective resource,
to share, educate and inspire.

Our purpose is to bring happiness and social connection to individuals living with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia by engaging their creative abilitites.  Our experience with thousands of program participants in the Sacramento Region supports national research on positive connection between creativity, happiness and health.

Our sponsors have joined our mission, engaging with us to serve our community and provide art-centered sessions to memory care and senior communitites throughout the Sacramento region.

creates high-profile, public-interest initiatives to promote healthy, purposeful longevity.  The Sacramento, California headquartered firm co-founded the Happiness Lab Workshop Series with Artisan Mind

Tiffany Paige, Founder and Creative Director of Artisan Mind

With a BFA from Parson’s School of Design, Tiffany worked in the design industry until her call into creative arts care. Moved by the loss of her grandfather to Alzheimer’s, she started pursuing her passion to bring the healing properties of art and imagination to lives of people living with the illness. In 2010 she initiated the Art Liaison program with VITAS Hospice, developing personalized, individual creative programs for patients on their care. Prior to launching the Sacramento chapter of ARTZ: Artists for Alzheimer’s, she worked as Life Enrichment Manager with Sunrise Senior Living, followed by Life Enrichment Director with CiminoCare.

Inspired by the brilliance and generosity of men like Grandpa Mac, and the loving wisdom of women like Nanna Lu, Tiffany is dedicated to offering creative experiences that serve as gateways to accessing lost memories, giving persons living with Alzheimer’s a chance to reclaim their sense of dignified self and heal the symptoms often associated with the illness and other and related dementias.

In loving memory of Nanna Lu and Grandpa Mac. Grandpa- you can always break my melba toast!
